Australian grassland animals list. These animals are too large to hide in the grasses so they must protect themselves in other ways such as by speed or camouflage. A grassland is a landscape full of treesshrubsand bushes. At least 13 of these seed-consuming birds are endemic meaning they are found nowhere else. Clutch size is between 2 and 4 and when seasons are favorable up to 4 clutches are raised.
